
Ingredients
1/2 cup canned baked beans
1/4 cup sliced onions
1/2 tbsp sliced garlic
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1/4 small pasta
2 tsp cornflour
1 tsp oregano
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp butter
salt to taste
For the garnish
4 tbsp gratedd cheese
Method
Heat the butter in a pan, add the onions and garlic and sauté till the onions turn translucent.
Add the baked beans, tomatoes, macaroni, salt and 4 cups of hot water and bring to a boil. Simmer till the psta is cooked (approx. 8 to 10 minutes).
Dissolve the corn flour in 2 tablespoons of water and add to the soup.
Add the oregano, tomato ketchup, salt and pepper and mix well.
Serve hot garnished with cheese.
